She worked for magazines, newspapers, digital news sites, TV and radio stations in Florida, Texas, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey until she found her way to Charlotte, N.C. She built Brave New Word to bring the skills she learned as a reporter and editor — namely, how to tell stories that change the world — to businesses looking to make an impact.
