Today, BNW had the opportunity to talk with longtime recruiter Emily Welfeld for the Charlotte Business Journal. When speaking with Emily, she detailed her struggle in finding a software developer for her company. When she found one who fit her list of criteria, she was faced with a dilemma; the candidate had been offered seven other jobs in the past week. For Emily, this showcased a problem - a tight IT market. In this situation, the candidate didn’t have to fight for the job, rather, Emily had to fight for him.
